Sundby station on the M1
Sundby is a Copenhagen Metro station on an elevated viaduct in Amager, served by the M1. It opened in 2002 and sits in zone 3 of the regional fare system.
Metro station borders Amager Fælled, which with its fresh air and large natural areas invites you to run and walk. On the opposite side of the station are terraced houses, both new and older, along with some of Amager’s garden associations. The metro station is ideal if you want to get away from the city for a short while.
On the M1, DR Byen is 2 minutes back down the line and Bella Center is 1 minute further on.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
