Vanløse station on the M1

Vanløse is a Copenhagen Metro station at street level in Vanløse, served by the M1 and M2. It opened in 2003 and sits in zone 2 of the regional fare system.

Next to the S-train station is Vanløse Station, the westernmost station on the M1 and M2 metro lines. In the middle of Vanløse’s quiet suburban environment, Vanløse Station also serves as a busy transfer station between The Metro and S-train, providing fast connections to central Copenhagen with its frequent departures. S f you want to relax in Vanløse, you can take a stroll on Vanløse Torv, see theatre or listen to a concert at Vanløse Kulturstation, or shop in Vanløse’s Kronen shopping centre, which you can easily reach via the direct access at the eastern end of the metro platform.

On the M1, Flintholm is 1 minute further on.

Vanløse is an interchange: the lines meet inside one station, so changing between them means walking across a platform or riding one escalator — there is nothing to tap again and nothing more to pay.

This is the end of the M1. Trains reverse here, so you can always get a seat if you board at Vanløse.

Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
