Amagerbro station on the M2
Amagerbro is a Copenhagen Metro station below ground in Amagerbro, served by the M2. It opened in 2002 and sits in zone 1 of the regional fare system.
Amagerbro station puts you in the middle of the neighbourhood. Amager Shopping Center stands beside the station, and together with the many shops on Amagerbrogade it makes the area a strong shopping destination. A short walk away, Holmbladsgade is lined with flats, small shops and relaxed cafés. The street is also home to Prismen, a sports and culture centre whose programme covers theatre, art shows, a festival devoted to port wine and the neighbourhood flea market.
On the M2, Christianshavn is 2 minutes back down the line and Lergravsparken is 2 minutes further on.
