Nørrebro station on the M3
Nørrebro is a Copenhagen Metro station below ground in Nørrebro, served by the M3. It opened in 2019 and sits in zone 2 of the regional fare system.
Four streets converge at Nørrebro Station: Nordre Fasanvej, Lygten, Frederikssundsvej and Nørrebrogade. From here you can change to buses, S-trains or the metro, or simply stay and explore a neighbourhood that has more than once earned international praise as a place worth seeing. Around the station there are bazaars full of exotic goods and well-liked places to eat. A few hundred metres down Nørrebrogade lie Den Røde Plads and Nørrebroruten, with the area outside Nørrebrohallen always full of activity.
Keep going along Nørrebrogade, or cut through the green spaces to the right, and you come to Nørrebroparken, a pleasant place to spend time, particularly in summer.
On the M3, Skjolds Plads is about 1 minute back down the line and Nørrebros Runddel is about 1 minute further on.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
