Nørrebros Runddel station on the M3
Nørrebros Runddel is a Copenhagen Metro station below ground in Nørrebro, served by the M3. It opened in 2019 and sits in zone 1 of the regional fare system.
This station brings you out on Nørrebrogade, the main thoroughfare of Nørrebro, at one corner of Assistens Cemetery. From the exit you can either explore the surrounding streets or take a walk among the graves of the historic cemetery. Down below, the walls are lined with yellowish brick, a reference both to the brick buildings of the neighbourhood and to the many monuments in the cemetery. Most stations let daylight in through several small skylights; Nørrebros Runddel is the only one with a single large opening instead.
On a sunny day, when the angle is right, daylight streams straight down into the hall where passengers wait.
On the M3, Nørrebro is about 1 minute back down the line and Nuuks Plads is about 3 minutes further on.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
