Orientkaj station on the M4
Orientkaj is a Copenhagen Metro station on an elevated viaduct in Nordhavn, served by the M4. It opened in 2020 and sits in zone 1 of the regional fare system.
Orientkaj puts you in the middle of a district that is changing fast. A number of businesses have already set up here or opened an extra office in the area, and new buildings keep appearing across Nordhavn. Even so, the harbour industry that has shaped this part of Copenhagen for over a century is still very much present, side by side with the new neighbourhood now taking shape around it.
Because the station stands right beside the harbour basin along the quay that gives it its name, there are sweeping views over the water from the platform and from the train itself. The harbour bus terminal is next door, and during the day the boats offer another way to enjoy the waterfront up close.
On the M4, Nordhavn is 1 minute further on.
This is the end of the M4. Trains reverse here, so you can always get a seat if you board at Orientkaj.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
