Frederiksberg Allé station on the M3
Frederiksberg Allé is a Copenhagen Metro station below ground in Frederiksberg, served by the M3. It opened in 2019 and sits in zone 1 of the regional fare system.
With a touch of Paris about it, Frederiksberg Allé is a long avenue of tall lime trees running from Frederiksberg Have to Vesterbrogade. Along it are relaxed cafés and quality shops, Frederiksberg Chocolate among them, as well as Madhuset, built right above the metro station. The Betty Nansen Theatre is close by, and a few minutes on foot bring you to Gammel Kongevej, Værnedamsvej or STORM on Frederiksberg Runddel, a museum given over to humour and satire. It is an easy area to explore on foot from the station.
Down in the station, the avenue’s leafy feel continues underground in the green colour chosen for the walls.
On the M3, Frederiksberg is about 3 minutes back down the line and Enghave Plads is about 1 minute further on.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
