Nordhavn station on the M4
Nordhavn is a Copenhagen Metro station below ground in Nordhavn, served by the M4. It opened in 2020 and sits in zone 1 of the regional fare system.
Nordhavn station opens onto the streets around Århusgade. For exercise there is Konditaget Lüders, a rooftop where the view alone justifies the climb. On warm days the harbour promenade is the spot for sunbathing and a swim, with cafés and restaurants close at hand. Big Bio Nordhavn sits on the route between the station and the water, a good option if you would rather spend the day watching a film.
A pedestrian tunnel links the metro to the older S-train station, so it is easy to transfer from one to the other on arrival. From the station square, Århusgade continues towards Østerbro, another inviting neighbourhood with well-liked bakeries, cafés and places to eat.
On the M4, Orientkaj is 1 minute back down the line and Østerport is 3 minutes further on.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
