Vibenshus Runddel station on the M3
Vibenshus Runddel is a Copenhagen Metro station below ground in Østerbro, served by the M3. It opened in 2019 and sits in zone 1 of the regional fare system.
Vibenshus Runddel station stands at a corner of Fælledparken and owes its name to Store Vibenshus, an inn that once stood here. The park is a green space in the heart of the city, used for sport and exercise, concerts and gatherings such as the traditional Labour Day celebrations on 1 May. Across the busy junction rises Vibenshuset, a large office building occupying a former liquorice and chocolate factory; sweets were made there until 2000, and today more than 20 companies have offices inside.
Within a few hundred metres lies Egmont H. Petersens Kollegium, usually just called Egmont Kollegiet, a residence for nearly 500 students on the Nørrebro-Østerbro border.
On the M3, Poul Henningsens Plads is about 1 minute back down the line and Skjolds Plads is about 1 minute further on.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
