Privacy policy
copenhagenmetro.org — an independent guide to the Copenhagen Metro.
The short version
We do not sell your data, we do not build a profile of you and we do not ask you to create an account. The only personal data we ever hold is what you type into the contact form.
Who is responsible
The publisher of copenhagenmetro.org is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, so that we can reply. Legal basis: your consent. Kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Server logs: IP address, browser and requested page, kept by our host for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Analytics and advertising: if you consent, Google may set cookies to measure traffic and to show adverts. You can decline, and change your mind at any time, through the consent banner.
What we do not collect
The journey planner runs entirely in your browser: the stations you look up are never sent to us. The live departure board asks our own server for a station’s departures and that request is not tied to you or stored.
Processors
Our web host (in the EU), Cloudflare (content delivery and security), and Google (consent-based analytics and advertising). Transfers outside the EEA rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Denmark, Datatilsynet.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page.
