Lufthavnen station on the M2
Lufthavnen is a Copenhagen Metro station on an elevated viaduct in Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, served by the M2. It opened in 2007 and sits in zone 4 of the regional fare system.
The Copenhagen Metro takes you the first steps when travelling out into the world. The station is part of Copenhagen Airport’s Terminal 3, which houses the arrival hall and check-in area. If you want to avoid long queues and get your journey off to a flying start, you can do your check-in at the metro station, where you’ll also find self-service check-in kiosks. Then simply drop off your luggage at baggage reclaim or go directly from The Copenhagen Metro to the security check if you only have hand luggage.
If you have just arrived at Copenhagen Airport, it only takes 14 minutes by The Metro to get to the centre of Copenhagen.
On the M2, Kastrup is 1 minute back down the line.
This is the end of the M2. Trains reverse here, so you can always get a seat if you board at Lufthavnen.
Trains call here 24 hours a day, every day of the year — every two minutes at rush hour, every three during the day and evening, and every 8 to 20 minutes overnight depending on the day of the week.
